Gavriella Tova West

After originally training in fine art sculpture, I am currently a Psychology master’s student at Middlesex University with an aim to complete a doctoral degree in Educational Psychology.

I have 6 years experience volunteering and working freelance and for the government with children and adolescents with special needs.

I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition at the age of 10 and struggled greatly with the educational system. I have since devoted my life to helping individuals with ASC and SEN navigate the academic world and actualise their full potential.

I have a special interest in Music and how it can facilitate emotional regulation and reflection. As
such, my master’s research with Dr Franco is focusing on how Music can benefit cognitive functioning in neurodivergent individuals.
