This 13-min film illustrates a short music therapy intervention to support refugee caregivers and toddlers from Ukraine, carried out in London in the Spring of 2023. For two months, participants attended a weekly session of small-group music therapy. Although complete data and interview analyses are still ongoing, we can already say that the project was successful in improving well-being and mitigating negative mental health symptoms (e.g., anxiety), as well as supporting cognitive functioning in the caregivers. Positive developments were also observed in the children. A paper with the results is in preparation for submission to a scientific journal.
